Celia M. is the founder of Resilientista, throughout her life she has always managed to turn life's lemons into lemonade. In 2006 the life she had planned and worked so hard for, became ancient history in a blink of an eye. She would spend the better part of the next ten years healing from the visible and invisible scars. During this time she came to realize the important role self care, positive thinking and the relationship with self plays in the healing process.
Celia is a featured author in Soulful Relationships part of the best selling series Adventures in Manifesting; is a Self Care Advocate; inspirational speaker/writer, Lifestyle writer/blogger; and a student of life - certified in Reiki, Life Coaching, Law of Attraction, and Meditation. Resilientista launched in 2015 as a blog (a spin off of Celia's original blog High Heeled Life) to share all that she had learned first hand about self care, along with the tools and techniques she used to thrive and create a life, that fit the person she had become. In spring 2017 with the help of a editorial contributing team, Resilientista evolved into a digital magazine founded on the "Self Care is Not Optional" mantra Celia had adopted. While the magazine and the Resilientista Self Care Planner were becoming a success Celia's personal life was falling apart. Something had to give, and with a heavy heart, she made the decision to hit pause on Resilientista at the beginning of 2019. After the past 4 years of falling, failing, rabbit holes, learning, new adventures, self growth and repeat, Celia is ready to come back and fulfill her vision for Resilientista. Celia began her career in the corporate world, 25 plus years ago. She holds a certificate and diploma in International Trade; and has worked for industry leading companies in aerospace, health care and communications. Taking the skills she developed to help grow companies and self care tools she used (some of which she created) along with her zest for life have been instrumental in taking her from surviving to thriving! |
